New Delhi: Mumbai has been formally announced as the host for the final match of 2011 World Cup while one semi-final match will be played at Mohali.It has also been decided to award a quarter-final match to Ahmedabad while Kolkata will organise four World Cup matches including a game involving India.

In a statement released by BCCI, it stated that as many as 29 matches will take place in India while the remaining matches will be divided between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
